Adventures following Chorley have been lacking in the last couple of weeks owing to holiday. Having said that the only away day I missed was Stalybridge, which is a great shame given it offered one of the more memorable away days last season when Chorley were scheduled to play there on 28th December. The game was called off before lunch as the pitch was frozen and it was deemed unlikely to thaw out in time for the 3pm kick off. If you’ve read enough of my ramblings you will know by now...

Managing one’s attendance at football matches is a skill one acquires with experience.
